1+2 =3

October 13th, 2009

Angelina Jolie\’s Life Path number is a 3.

Reduce your own birthday down to a single number and then find the interpretation below that describes your journey. Those configurations that also result in a master number such as 11, 22 or 33 should read the life path prediction for that number as well. For instance if your birthday reduces to 22 and then down to a 4, then you should read the interoperations for both the numbers 4 and 22.

Philosophy

October 11th, 2009

But when things are normal a man should be healthy without a tonic and happy without a theory. It is the simple things that really matter. If a man delights in his wife and children, has success in work, and finds pleasure in the alternation of day and night, spring and autumn, he will be happy whatever his philosophy may be.

Great Soliloquies of William Shakespeare

Romeo And Juliet: Act 5,Scene 3

Romeo: My love! My wife!

Death, that hath sucked the honey of thy breath,

Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty.

Thou are not conquered. Beauty’s 1)ensign yet

Is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks,

And death’s pale flag is not advanced there.

Dear Juliet,

Why art thou yet so fair? Shall I believe

That unsubstantial Death is amorous,

Keeps thee here in dark to be his paramour?

Here. O, here will I 2)set up my everlasting rest

And shake the yoke of 3)inauspicious stars

From this world-wearied flesh.

Eyes, look your last!

Arms, take your last embrace! And, lips, O you

The doors to breath, seal with a righteous kiss

A 4)dateless bargain to 5)engrossing death!

There Is A Pleasure In The Pathless Woods

October 10th, 2009

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,

There is a rapture on the lonely shore,

There is a society where none intrudes,

By the deep sea, and music in its roar;

I love not Man the less, but Nature more,

From these our interviews, in which I steal

From all I may be, or have been before,

To mingle with the Universe, and feel

What I can never express, yet can not all conceal.

Game Of Love

October 10th, 2009

Tell me just what you want me to be

One kiss and boom you’re the only one for me

So please tell me why don’t you come around no more

Cause right now I’m crying outside the door of your candy store

It just takes a little bit of this

A little bit of that

It started with a kiss

Now we’re up to bat

A little bit of laughs

A little bit of pain

I’m telling you, my babe

It’s all in the game of love

This, whatever you make it to be

Sunshine set on this cold lonely sea

So please baby try and use me for what I’m good for

It ain’t sayin’ goodbye that’s knocking down the door of your candy store

It just takes a little bit of this

A little bit of that

It started with a kiss

Now we’re up to bat

A little bit of laughs

A little bit of pain

I’m telling you, my babe

Walking at Night

October 9th, 2009

Walking at night can be very dangerous. The advice below can make your walking more safe.

Avoid walking or running alone at night. Instead go walking or jogging with a friend.

Do not use headphones while walking, driving or jogging. You need to hear what is going on around you to be safe.

Always walk in well-lighted areas. Don’t use of short cuts.

After dark, keep away from large bushes or doorways where someone could be lurking. Always stay near the curb.

If someone in a vehicle stops and asks for directions, do not approach the vehicle. Answer from a distance.

If someone follows you, go to an area with lights and people. If you need, to walk in a different direction.

When you get money at the ATM machine, be careful. Quickly put your cash away so people do not see it.

Fireplace Users Could Get Fined

October 9th, 2009

Many people use wood stoves and fireplaces to heat their homes. Scientists have become worried about the smoke that they give off. Harmful chemicals are in the smoke. The smoke is causing air pollution. The pieces of pollution, called soot, are floating in the air. They are too tiny to see. Scientists must use a microscope to see them.

Small amounts of soot are safe, but large amounts can be dangerous. The government wants to limit this kind of pollution. It may stop people from using their fireplaces.

The air is tested every day. When soot levels are high, more than 65 micrograms of soot per cubic meter, factories must stop making smoke. The government thinks that limit should be much lower.

Factories produce the most smoke and soot. But the government thinks that all types of burning should be limited. The soot levels from factories and homes could be limited. Home owners may have to install new wood stoves that they comply with the new law. Or, they may not be able to burn on days when the air quality is bad.

Overview of Burma sanctions

September 23rd, 2009

Burma’s decision to extend pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi’s house arrest has triggered renewed calls for sanctions against its military rulers. The BBC looks at the existing sanctions and economic limitations in place.

EUROPEAN UNION
In 1996 the EU adopted a Common Position on Burma which included a ban on the sale or transfer of arms and weapons expertise to the country. It also suspended all bilateral aid other than humanitarian assistance.

After troops violently suppressed anti-government protests in September 2007, the EU expanded its sanctions. It introduced a visa ban on members of the military regime and government, and a freeze on overseas assets held by some members of the regime.

After the conviction of the opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi for violating security laws in August 2009, France and Britain called for global arms and economic embargoes against Burma.

Honduras interim govt lifts curfew

September 22nd, 2009

The interim government on Friday lifted a curfew imposed in most of Honduras after a coup that ousted President Manuel Zelaya.
However, the curfew, imposed since the June 28 coup, was maintained in areas around Honduras’ border with Nicaragua to guard against Zelaya’s return.
Government spokesman Rene Zepeda said the curfew would continue in El Paraiso in the east, and Concepcion de Maria, El Triunfo and Guasaule in the south, from 6 p.m. (0000 GMT) to 6 a.m. (1200 GMT).
Honduras plunged into a political crisis when Zelaya was forced into exile after angering the army, the legislature and judiciary by seeking a constitutional amendment that would allow him to seek re-election. Zelaya had denied such intention.
Meanwhile, Zelaya, whose return to Honduras as president has been rejected by the interim government, continued his efforts to garner international support. He was to visit Mexico next week at the invitation of President Felipe Calderon.
The Mexican Foreign Ministry said in a communique that Zelaya will arrive in Mexico on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Honduras with Calderon.
Calderon and Zelaya will also discuss the mediation process led by Costa Rican President Oscar Arias, “which has a strong support from the international community.”

Relative arrested

September 18th, 2009

In another development, police have arrested the man who reported the killings.

Guy Heinze Jr, 22, faces charges of lying to police, tampering with evidence and possession of drugs.

Mr Doering said he was a “family member who came home and discovered (the victims)”.

Asked if Mr Heinze was a suspect, Mr Doering said: “I’m not going to rule him out, but I’m not going to characterise him as a suspect.”

Police have announced a $25,000 (£15,300) reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

Mr Doering said police had no other suspects so far and added: “We need help.”

“We just simply don’t have a lot to go on,” he said.
